About 70 Times 7
70 Times 7 is a cinematic metalcore project created by musician and songwriter Peter Scherer. Blending heavy riffs, massive orchestral elements, off-kilter rhythms, melodic vocals, screams, and the occasional punch to the gut, 70 Times 7 combines the intensity of modern metalcore with stories of faith, struggle, redemption, and the human condition. Peter uses guitar, keyboards, vocals, orchestration, and emerging AI technology as creative tools to bring these songs to life, crafting a sound that is both epic in scope and deeply personal in message. Whether drawing inspiration from Scripture, life's hardest questions, or the moments that shape us, 70 Times 7 exists to create music that challenges, inspires, and stays with listeners long after the final note fades.
